The Challenge

The pharmaceutical company faced the significant challenge of unifying its two distinct cloud platforms into a single global platform. This consolidation aimed to create a centralized data repository, combining data from both existing platforms while ensuring its secure and authorized access. Additionally, the new unified platform was tasked with enhancing the value of the consolidated data through the application of business intelligence and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, thereby maximizing the data’s utility and facilitating innovative analytics capabilities.

The Solution

In collaboration with the Security, Operations, and Network teams, Keepler embarked on merging two AWS Organizations through a project aimed at creating a unified, multi-organizational cloud platform with centralized governance and operations. This initiative utilized services such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, AWS Control Tower, and AWS Organizations.

This process addressed critical aspects such as Networking, Security, Operations, and Identity Management, ensuring a seamless and coherent integration of systems and policies across the unified platform. It involved merging IT processes and reconfiguring services like AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, and Service Control Policies.
