The client faced the challenge of reducing the cost of their disaster recovery platform for its Cloudera on-premises platform to reduce the cost while meeting the stringent audit requirements, ensuring the continuity of critical banking operations under any circumstances. In that moment the bank was using a farm of servers in a datacenter that almost replicates the production servers one to one.
The Solution
Keepler tailored a solution on AWS leveraging an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model, focusing on disaster recovery for a large on-prem Cloudera server farm with automated, on-demand activation capabilities. This approach guaranteed uninterrupted execution of the bank’s critical data processes and access during disasters, highlighting the system’s resilience, flexibility, and efficiency.
